If you would like to go on the waiting list to adopt a Utonagan in need of re-homing, and can offer a permanent, kind, loving home for life, please email me with your name, address and landline telephone number. Please state the preferred age of dog you would like to offer a home to, i.e. pup, adolescent, adult, senior and also whether you prefer a dog or a bitch. Please note that a donation will be required to enable us to continue to help dogs in need of assistance. If you are willing to offer temporary foster care, possibly at very short notice in emergency cases, please write as outlined above and in either case I will telephone you soon to discuss your application further.
If you already have a Utonagan and for any reason you find you are unable to keep them, please email me with as much information as possible so that we can find the most suitable home for your dog. We can also offer short term foster care for your Utonagan if you need to go into hospital, if there is a break up of partnership/home or for any other reason you may require short term assistance.
We aim to match the right dog to the right people so a thorough vetting process will be undertaken before anyone goes on the waiting list to re-home any Utonagan. We offer a full support and advice service for anyone taking in a dog and you are not obliged to keep the dog should things not work out. In this case, the Association reserves the right to re-home the dog and you will be required to relinquish ownership back to us to ensure that the best interests of the dog are served.
